For years, our church stepped in to help the destitutes of the Bay Area community, when called - irrespective of their religious, ethnical or cultural background.
We stepped in to feed the homeless of St James park in San Jose, and the streets of San Francisco.
The ladies’ reunion brough food on several occasions to the Catholic Workers house in Redwood City.
We helped elders from our town who could not pay their moving expenses (and helped them move). The parishioners helped a Vietnamese mom and her children who came after services to ask for money and food.
Currently, we are in desperate need to donations for a Latino family of five, from San Jose, who unjustly lost their social security and are facing eviction, thus homelessness!
PLEASE HELP US HELP THESE DESPERATE PEOPLE!
